it was host
ed on a Raspberry PI 1 for almost 7 Years, which also served as IR Reciever for the living room automation, and a IO set via a PIFace board.
nowadays this job is done by a Intel NUC series 5, it ran my news station in my trading Home office, but the CPU fan failed and well i did not want to spend 100 bucks to fix it, it does this low power tasks now. and can be reached via dev.0x8.in.th
like:
- reverse proxy for the Office Camera (static and videostream)
- reverse proxy for the Garage Camera (static)
- reverse proxy for the 3D Printer Camera (static, cdn and live)
- realtime Trading status via json and static HTML
- mysql Storage for logs and transactional items
- some home automation stuff like the Camera based daylight detection (among other things)
- hosting the internal website (just my own personal dashboard granting me access to stuff)
- auto-deployment of VPN instances worldwide
- CDN management and traffic control, for all my projects
- SSL Certificate monitoring for all my projects
- manage of my personal Trading track records, with realtime profit/loss Monitoring
(basically the bleeding-edge of the system that was later used by EnFoid LLC) - webhost for development websites (internally only)
- secondary DNS services
- and serval other small things i come up with on a random basis noone notices 😉
